What is the maximum image size I can upload to Shopify through SimpleConsign?
- Images exceeding 5 MB cannot be uploaded via browser and will be rejected. Only .JPG and .PNG formats are supported. Larger images may be uploaded through the photo app.
How can I upload product images directly to Shopify?
- SimpleConsign serves as the primary information source, so all product updates (images, descriptions, tags) must be made within SimpleConsign. Direct edits on Shopify will be overwritten during nightly bulk syncs to maintain updated inventory.

My online sales don't show as transactions in SimpleConsign, where are they?
- We pull all sales data, including taxes, directly from Shopify, which is documented in the Online Sales Report within SimpleConsign. Consignors are automatically credited upon the sale of their items, with inventory synchronized between SimpleConsign and Shopify. Additionally, the Shopify order number appears in the item’s history tab in SimpleConsign.
- Please note that online sales figures are available exclusively in the Online Sales Report and do not appear in the in-store Sales Report for your SimpleConsign store.
How do discounts come across to Shopify?
- If you change the price of an item that change will go up in around 15 seconds.
- Date discounts, tag color discounts, category discounts come across at night. Updating large amounts of inventory is done with the bulk sync at local midnight and is done every night.
-You'll need to request ignore MSRP from a support representative if you want to use compare at price. This is part of the field mappings
- MSRP: When you send the MSRP over and it's higher than the retail price of the item Shopify will display 'Sale' on the item - if your theme supports it. This is the default behavior.
- Compare at price: With ignore MSRP unchecked, the MSRP field will transfer over and the compare at price will be filled on Shopify. This will also make the item appear on sale.
How can I activate all inventory to connect to Shopify?
- Inventory is not by default added to Shopify when you link a Shopify site to your SimpleConsign store. Stores typically will check the box in the Back Office to set item ecommerce flag when an image is added to an item then download the photo app and start taking pictures of items.
- To add items to Shopify you click into an item, click on the ecommerce tab, add as many details you would like to this screen and check the 'Item is an ecommerce item' checkbox. By default items have to have an image and be in active status to make it to Shopify.

How to grant Shopify Partner Access?
- A tech support agent will send a request for partner / collaborator access.
- Login to your Shopify store http://admin.shopify.com/
- Click the bell icon in the top right
- You'll see the pending request from us, click on it
- Click Accept Request
- Let the tech support agent know you approved the request
