Add a Customer

To add a new customer, click on the + New Customer.



There will be a number of fields to fill out but only First Name and Last Name are required.

Contact Info

This is where you record various methods of contacting your customer. Recording this information allows you to export emails and phone numbers should you wish to reach out for marketing or other reasons. The organization field allows you to note an associated business name with the customer.

Address

Address information for your customer can be recorded here.

Other

Loyalty ID allows you to associate a unique barcode with a customer. This can be handy for doing speedy customer lookups at checkout. The Tax Exempt checkbox and Tax ID Number field allow you to record information to document if a customer should have their future transactions marked as tax exempt. You'll need to fill out both fields, but once that's done any future transactions the customer is linked to will automatically have tax removed.

Identification Info

If you want to record drivers license information you can document that information within the customer profile here.

Customer Notes

Want to record something not listed above? The customer notes section is the perfect place. 

Save the Customer Account

When you are done filling in the information, click the Save and Close button.
