Compatible Checks
It's important the checks you use are compatible with the system. If you'd like to purchase them from our partner you can visit their website. Their single or triple format checks are compatible.
Complete a Payout
Instructions on how to complete a payout can be found in the appropriate article. Once the payout is complete you'll have the ability to print checks. Single payouts will prompt on printing checks automatically as long as Check was the selected payment type and Print Check is selected at the bottom.
For bulk payouts you'll need to complete the additional step of selecting the Checks link at the top of the batch after the payout is completed.
That will open the following window with options to customize the check layout.
If this is your first time printing checks or you've changed up your setup select Customize Check Layout to make any adjustments determined by the section below. After selecting Generate Checks for Printing a pdf will generate. Here's an example that displays both the check portion and a check stub portion.
Test Print
Be sure to configure your check options before proceeding.
There's a few keys steps to ensuring your checks print correctly.
- Test how the paper feeds in your printer
- Whether the checks need to be face up or face down
- Does the top of the page need to be toward the back of the paper tray or front
- Will your stack of checks need to be inversed so the check numbers line up appropriately
- Compare how the check format prints compared to your checks.
- Some adjustments may be needed so test on regular paper
Once you're happy with how everything lines up go ahead and print the checks.
