Cash Drawer Settings are located within the Settings menu in the Back Office. To get there, select the Settings icon in the top right corner while logged into the Back Office.
From here, select the Options Tab along the top and scroll down to the Cashier/Terminal section.
Configuration
- Cashier Idle Time
- Set idle time after (x) seconds of inactivity
- Using Cash Drawer
- Check this box if you are using a compatible cash drawer attached to your compatible receipt printer.
- Allow access to see transaction totals on the Terminal
- Check this box if you'd like your cashiers to see the transaction totals on the terminal.
Cash Drawer connection
A cash drawer will only pop if it's connected to a receipt printer via a cash drawer cable, when the receipt prints that is what releases the springs in the cash drawer. USB cash drawers are not supported in SimpleConsign.
