About EDNA
EDNA (Electronic Device Native Adapter) is a software we developed to communicate with printers. This must be installed to interface with both receipt printers and label printers.

How to Download EDNA
There are 2 methods to download EDNA:
- From the Terminal side, select the Admin tab.
- Navigate to the 'Printers' in the top righthand corner of your screen.
Check which version of EDNA you have
While you're signed in to SimpleConsign:
- Click Printers in the top right corner of the screen.
- Click EDNA Printers.
- Look for EDNA Host v. followed by a number, for example EDNA Host v.0.9.9.14. That number is your EDNA version.
Newest versions: The newest version is 0.9.9.14 on Windows and 0.9.9.15 on Mac. The numbers are different on purpose, so a Windows computer showing 0.9.9.14 is up to date.
Don't see an EDNA Host version? The version only appears when EDNA is running and connected. Make sure you've opened SimpleConsign in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, then restart your computer. If the version still doesn't appear, contact us and we'll help.
