Printers Not Working - No Connection to EDNA After Google Chrome Security Update

Have more questions? Submit a request

Overview

If you are experiencing connectivity issues with EDNA while using Google Chrome, the cause may be related to a recent browser update. On October 28, 2025, Google released Chrome version 142, which introduced a new security setting titled "Local Network Access" under Privacy & Security. When this setting is not enabled, the SimpleConsign software may not be able to communicate with EDNA, preventing us from sending information to your printers.

To resolve this issue, view the tutorial video or follow the step-by-step instructions below for guidance.
