If you want multiple label printers plugged into one computer, you will need to purchase printers of different models. This allows the computer to easily identify the difference between the printers and makes for simpler mapping of tags to printers.
When using more than one label printer on the same computer, each printer needs to be
set up with a unique name and mapped to the correct label/tag style. See EDNA Installation & Printer Setup for more information.
Printers that are not serialized will sometimes switch the way that labels are printed without any changes being made to the software. This typically happens with TSC printers.
If moving one of the printers to another computer is not an option, you will need to do the following:
-
Turn both printers off.
-
In EDNA Printers, click Details and Unconfigure each printer.
-
Turn the first printer on and add it back with a unique name. Do the same for the second printer.
-
Make sure the printers are mapped correctly in Printers > Printer Mapping.
