Calibrate Labels

At times, your printer may not print the words on the label correctly or the print will run off the side of the label. When this happens, the first thing to check is making sure the category of the item you are printing is set to the correct label type.

The second thing to do is calibrate the printer to the label. Different printers do this with different commands, which you'll see below. The easiest way to calibrate is through EDNA.

Calibrate using EDNA

Click Printers in the top right of your screen

Click EDNA Printers

Click Details on the printer you want to calibrate

Finally, click Calibrate.

The printer should make a different sounding noise and print out a few blank labels. This is normal. Don't open the printer to roll those blank labels back in, the printer calibrated to know where everything is at, opening the printer will undo that.

When you print everything should be lined up. If the label still needs to be adjusted you should check to make sure the label roll is center most in the machine physically. After that follow these steps to calibrate again.
